Naively reversing a string breaks anything built from multiple Unicode code points: emoji with skin-tone or gender modifiers, flags, family sequences, and accented characters composed from a base letter plus a combining mark. Reversed naively, these either split into their component parts or render as the wrong symbol entirely. Plain Latin text has no such issue.
