You get a reply from the person who would actually do the work, usually within one working day. There is no qualification call with a salesperson and no automated sequence — the first response is a real answer to what you asked.

If the project looks like a fit, the next step is a scoping conversation of thirty to forty-five minutes. That covers what the site or application has to achieve, what already exists, who needs to be able to update it afterwards, and any deadline that is genuinely fixed rather than aspirational. A written proposal with a fixed quote follows within a few days.

If it is not a fit, we say so directly and point you somewhere more suitable. Projects needing a larger team working in parallel, or a specialism outside design and web engineering, are better served elsewhere and it wastes everyone's time to pretend otherwise.

The more of this you can answer, the more useful the first reply will be: what the business does, what you want the site to achieve, whether you are replacing something existing or starting fresh, roughly what budget range you are working to, and when you need it live.

Budget in particular is worth stating even approximately. It is not used to inflate a quote — it is what lets us tell you in the first reply whether the thing you want is achievable at that level, rather than after two weeks of conversation.
